Bacharach's Composing Status

As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Burt Bacharach was still alive and active in the music industry, but I do not have information on whether he was still actively composing new music at that time. However, as a language model, I do not have access to information beyond that cutoff date. It is possible that he may have since announced new projects or activities

As of my knowledge cutoff date of September 2021, Burt Bacharach was still composing. However, he has slowed down his pace of work in recent years. In a 2018 interview with The Guardian, Bacharach stated that he was still writing music but that he was being more selective about the projects he took on. He also mentioned that he had been working on a new album, which would be his first in over a decade

As of my knowledge cutoff of September 2021, Burt Bacharach was still active as a composer and arranger, although he had significantly reduced his output in recent years. Bacharach, who was born on May 12, 1928, has been writing hit songs since the 1950s, and his music has been covered by countless artists over the years.

Some of his most famous compositions include "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head," "What the World Needs Now Is Love," "I Say a Little Prayer," "Do You Know the Way to San Jose," and "Walk On By." In recent years, Bacharach has continued to perform live concerts and has occasionally released new music. However, he has slowed down his pace of production and has not released a full album of new material since 2005
